Christopher, a versatile and dedicated general practitioner, joined Paddington Family Practice in 2006. He brings a unique background to his medical practice, having initially pursued a career as an engineer before transitioning to medicine. Christopher earned his medical degree from Sydney University in 2001 and completed his FRACGP in 2007.
With a passion for providing comprehensive care, Christopher's interests and experience span across men's health, pediatrics, and overall family care. He finds fulfillment in the continuity of care that being a person's GP offers over time, fostering strong doctor-patient relationships along the way.
Outside of his medical practice, Christopher cherishes spending quality time with his young family. He approaches life with an adventurous spirit, readily exploring various interests including sports, food, and wine, always in moderation. Christopher's zest for life is reflected in both his professional and personal pursuits, making him a valued member of the community.
Dr Louisa Jones
MBBS, BSc. (Hons), PhD, FRACGP
Louisa is a dedicated and multidimensional medical professional who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Paddington Family Practice. With a diverse background, Louisa initially pursued a career in microbiology, earning a PhD in the field before transitioning to medicine. She graduated from the University of Sydney with a medical degree, and her journey into healthcare continued.
Louisa's interests in paediatrics, geriatric medicine, and women's health reflect her commitment to addressing healthcare needs across various life stages. Her recent training with Family Planning NSW underscores her dedication to providing comprehensive care, particularly in reproductive health.

Dr Karen Spielman
MBBS (Hons), FRACGP, CEDC, FASPM
Karen, a dedicated general practitioner, graduated from Sydney University in 1993 and completed her GP training in 1997. She joined the esteemed team at Paddington Family Practice in late 2001.
Karen's approach to healthcare is holistic, emphasizing whole-person care. Alongside her colleagues, she is committed to delivering high-quality GP services to patients and the community. Her professional interests lie in the psychosocial aspects of medicine, with a focus on Youth Health, Mental Health, and chronic complex medical conditions, particularly Eating Disorders.
Notably, Karen serves as the Primary Care Mental Health Adviser at the Inside Out Institute and holds the position of advocacy Chair at The Australian Society for Psychological Medicine.

Dr Rimona Burke
MBBS, BSc (Med), MRMed, CPAT
Rimona, a highly qualified medical professional, completed her MBBS at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2003. Since then, she has pursued further specialization, obtaining a Fellowship in General Practice and a Masters in Reproductive Medicine (MRMed). In 2009, Rimona became a valued member of the Paddington Family Practice team.
With a particular focus on women's health, fertility, and antenatal care, Rimona brings expertise and compassion to her practice. As a mother herself, she possesses strong skills in child health, further enhancing her ability to care for families comprehensively.
Rimona is uniquely positioned to offer obstetric services to her patients through the Antenatal Shared Care Program at the Royal Hospital for Women and Royal Prince Alfred.
Outside of her professional commitments, Rimona enjoys spending quality time with her children, practicing yoga, and indulging in reading. Her dedication to both her patients and personal pursuits reflects her commitment to holistic well-being
Dr Kath Smartt
MBBS, FRACGP, DCH
Kath brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient care to Paddington Family Practice. Graduating from UNSW in 1991, Kath embarked on a diverse medical journey, gaining experience in various specialties including paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, palliative medicine, and addiction medicine. Her extensive background laid a strong foundation for her eventual specialization in general practice, which she completed in 2001.
For over two decades, Kath dedicated herself to serving the community at Potts Point Family Medical Practice. During her tenure, she cultivated a true family practice, caring for patients spanning from infancy to old age. Kath treasures the therapeutic relationships she has nurtured with her patients over the years, recognizing the profound impact of continuity of care on health outcomes.
Now, as she transitions to Paddington Family Practice, Kath remains committed to providing high-quality medical care to her patients. Her expertise extends to antenatal shared care with The Royal Hospital for Women, underscoring her dedication to women's health. Kath maintains a particular interest in paediatrics, recognizing the importance of early intervention and preventive care, as well as mental health, understanding the integral role it plays in overall well-being.

Dr Chris Scott
BSc, MBBS (USYD), PHD (USYD), FRACGP
Dr. Chris Scott is a versatile and compassionate general practitioner who brings a unique blend of academic rigor and patient-centered care to Paddington Family Practice. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science from UNSW, followed by a PhD in Medical Research with a focus on Type 2 Diabetes from the University of Sydney. Dr. Scott then pursued his medical degree from the University of Sydney, where he also completed his General Practice training in early 2020.

Graduating from Sydney University in 2009, Amy began her journey in general practice in 2011, quickly finding her passion for caring for patients through all stages of life, from newborns to the elderly.
Amy's commitment to education and mentorship is evident through her active involvement in teaching medical students and GP registrars. Her role as a Clinical Lecturer for Sydney Medical School allows her to impart her knowledge and experience to the next generation of healthcare professionals.
With a keen interest in women's health and maternal care, Amy has completed both a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Diploma of Child Health. She actively participates in Antenatal Shared Care programs with The Royal Hospital for Women and RPAH, providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers. Additionally, Amy is skilled in Implanon insertions, further expanding her ability to address women's health needs.
Outside of her professional commitments, Amy enjoys leading an active lifestyle, engaging in activities such as keeping fit and sailing. She also appreciates good food and cherishes moments spent laughing with family and friends.

Dr Karin Stern
BA, LLB, MBBS, DCH, FRACGP

Graduating from Sydney University with her medical degree in 2014, Karin initially gained experience at St Vincent’s Hospital before transitioning to general practice in 2018.

Dr Anna Marjason
